Conflict Resolution / Personal Safety Training

At the end of our Training Workshop you will be able to:

* Describe some of the common causes of Conflict,

* Be able to give examples of how communication becomes distorted,

* Have a greater awareness of different forms of communication,

* Describe different methods for dealing with “escalating  communication”,

* Explain how the law impacts onto employees who have cause to use “Reasonable Force” to protect themselves and / or colleagues,

* Have an awareness of themselves when dealing with hostilities, “fight flight freeze” hyper arousal,

* Give examples of what violence and aggression signals as it manifests,

* Have an awareness of 3 models of communication,

* Be able to describe how behaviours change during communication,

* Be able to demonstrate distance when dealing with conflict,

* Describe fundamental “risk assessment” criteria,


* This Training meets the requirements of the N.H.S. The above intends to give an illustration of the theme of our Conflict Resolution Training. All of our workshops will be specifically structured around the particular requirements of your organisation.

Physical Disengagement Intervention Skills can be supplemented into our Training programme, this would be at the discretion of your organisation.

Conflict Resolution Training Workshops

Course Aims:

* To provide a safe, well structured, environment, whereby delegates can learn, observe, and participate in, through factual information  exchange, a wide and diverse range of potent interventions for the safer management of Violence and Aggression inside of the Working  Environment.

Course Objectives:

By the promotion of enhanced risk assessment, through best practise and teamwork, working with abusive attitude and behaviour, in a non collusive manner. Understanding emotions, and creating safer boundaries, through the implementation of protocols which mirror and update information subject to medical, tactical and legal review.

All training is delivered by a fully qualified Trainer and accredited member of NCP.
